The poems were written in 2019-2022, during the COVID-19 epidemic and then the full-scale invasion. These are poems about what keeps us on the surface when, according to all the laws of physics and physiology, we should have already drowned. And this book is also about the art of singing and laughing - even in the dark icy water.
